UOP
Improved Hydrocracking Catalyst
More efficient hydrocracking catalysts (HC-150 and HC-53)
result in improved hydrogen utilization besides providing flexibility for
production of
distillate or naphtha. The improved (HC-150) catalyst provides enhanced
activity (100 F range) as compared to (HC-43) maintaining similar distillate
yields and stability. The improved performance provides opportunity to
obtain increased cycle length and/or enhanced throughput besides providing
opportunity to handle more difficult feedstocks and achieving reduction in
hydrogen consumption.
The other
improved hydrocracking catalyst (HC-53) reduces aromatic saturation of
naphtha products without effecting and/or enhancing heavier products saturation thereby obtaining reduced hydrogen consumption and producing
higher octane naphtha.
